End of the Year Remarks

The academic year is nearly at an end, and although some of you will be back next week for summer classes, many of us, including Ex Libris, are taking the summer off. Ex Libris will resume posting at the beginning of the Fall Quarter, in the first week of September. In the meantime, you may contact Ms. Jan Hickey at jhicke11@depaul.edu with announcements, news, or any other important information.

Before signing off for the summer, however, we would like to wish a heartfelt congratulations to all our graduates! We hope that all of your have enjoyed your years in the DePaul English Graduate Programs and are excited to move on to the next big thing. We wish you luck in your endeavors, and please keep in touch– we love posting alumni news on the blog!

To read the full list of 2012-2013 graduates, including those who graduated with distinction or received distinction for their portfolios, visit the 2012-2013 Graduates Page, and make sure to congratulate your classmates on their achievements!

Also, photos from the 4th Annual Spring English Conference are now up on flickr.com/photos/depaulenggrads for everyone to enjoy.

And finally, a personal note from current Ex Libris editor Maria Hlohowskyj:

It has been nothing short of an honor to work with the wonderful students, faculty, and staff of the English Graduate Programs for the past two years as your Graduate Assistant. I’m sad to say that this will be my final post to Ex Libris. Thank you to everyone who has read and contributed to this blog during my time here– especially those of you who took advantage of the many exciting events I posted. I hope that all current and incoming students as well as soon-to-be alumni continue to read Ex Libris as our next capable GA takes over in the fall. Keep sending in your news, announcements, and guest posts. And to all of you who are graduating this week– see you at Commencement!
