Tuscany Press Begins IndieGoGo Campaign

Help spark the 21st century Catholic fiction revival.

Following in the footsteps of literary greats such as Tolkien, O’Connor, Percy and Green, Tuscany Press is launching an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign to ignite a Catholic fiction revival for the 21st century.

The Tuscany Prize for Catholic Fiction is a literary prize to find great undiscovered and unpublished stores of Catholic fiction. Its goal is to attract the very best of the Catholic imagination in fiction to reward writers and publish compelling works of fiction that explore the Catholic perspective.

Funds collected through the campaign, running until December 7, will be awarded to the prize-winning authors. “Help make it possible to compete in a global market and attract stores that capture the imagination, so we may bring these stories to you,” says Peter Mongeau, Tuscany’s founder.

The demand for great new fiction incorporating Catholic values and themes is undeniable.

Tuscany Press recently released David Beckett’s international thriller, The Cana Mystery. In October, the Kindle edition of the book was offered for free to promote the book and draw a wider audience. The response was phenomenal. In just two days, The Cana Mystery leaped to number one on Amazon Kindle with over 60,000 downloads. The resulting reader reviews have been outstanding.

Community support through this campaign will help spark the 21st century Catholic fiction revival and celebrate the achievements of outstanding writers with incredible stories to tell.
