Graduate Alumnus Krystal Baugher has just published an article on The Atlantic.com. The article entitle “Women and Beer: A 4,500-Year History Is Coming Full Circle” traces the timeline of beer from ancient Egypt to modern day. In the process, Baugher dispels the myth that beer is a “man’s beverage” by pointing out that the second oldest alcoholic beverage has been almost solely brewed by women since its inception.
