Postgraduation Plans:
After I earn my Master of Arts in English from DePaul in June 2015, I plan to use my experience in writing, leadership roles, and service to work in the nonprofit sector in Chicago. While I originally entered the MAE program with the intention of teaching, over the past two years I’ve become more and more invested in my volunteer work with nonprofit organizations. Currently, this includes House of the Good Shepherd and WBEZ 91.5FM (Chicago Public Media, i.e., our local NPR-affiliated radio station). In my future career, I would like to blend my passion for service with my love of words and engaging in generative discourse.
