The Fall 2014 Black River Chapbook Competition is now open to submissions of poetry and short fiction through October 31, 2014.

Black Lawrence Press runs the Black River Chapbook Competition for an unpublished chapbook of poems or short fiction twice a year. Entries should be between 16 and 36 pages in length. The winner will receive book publication, a $500 cash award, and ten copies of the book.
