Spring Scholarships and Programs from DePaul’s Adult, Veteran, and Commuter Student Affairs

SCHOLARSHIPS

This Friday, March 13, is the deadline to apply for the Adult Student Affairs scholarships.

The Professional Development Fund allows adult students (undergraduates 24 years of age or older and graduate students) to apply for partial or full funding to cover memberships in professional organizations or associations, conference attendance, seminars, and other professional development opportunities.

COMPASS GROUPS

Adult Student Compass Groups

Compass Groups are community meetings about a specific topic that provide students with a structured way to meet peers. In spring quarter, the four Compass Groups will focus on the following topics: mindfulness, five choices (time management and productivity), stress management for academic success, and social justice.

Children's Museum Play Date

Museum Play Day at the Children’s Museum, Saturday, April 11, 10:30 a.m.: Parents can mingle and meet with members of Parents of Little Ones—DePaul’s student-run organization for students with children—while their children explore Chicago Children’s Museum. RSVP here for the event.

Conference with students with children

Conference for Students with ChildrenSaturday, April 18, 9 a.m.–2 p.m.: Session topics include worrying, tutoring, stress management, and spirituality. Drop-off child care and lunch and breakfast refreshments are provided. Sign up here for the event.
