Submissions are due on April 25 for The Writer‘s “The Great Break” contest.

 

The 1st place prize includes $1,000 and publication in The Writer, 2nd place is $500 and online publication, and 3rd place is $250 and online publication. Entry fee is $25. Heidi Pitlor, editor of The Best American Short Stories and author of The Daylight Marriage will be judging entries.
