Graduate students are encouraged to attend The English Institute’s 75th annual conference, TIME, this year at the University of Chicago.
The conference takes place September 16-17 and will cover E.P. Thompson’s 1967 essay, “Time, Work-Discipline, and Industrial Capitalism.” Students can find out more information and a full schedule of the conference here, and register online here. Registration for graduates from non-affiliate institutions (such as DePaul) costs $20. A downloadable PDF of Thompson’s essay can be found here.
