Still on the fence about a teaching internship?
I’ve just received a new list of internship offerings for FALL 2017 at Harold Washington College, in the Loop. That’s an easy trip on the Red Line, and a great place to learn about teaching with experienced instructors.
The available classes are on Tuesday/Thursday and Monday/Wednesday. Classes meet twice a week. Your obligation would be to attend each class (1 hour and 20 minutes long) and to add about an hour before or after to discuss plans with your mentor or to meet with students.

Here is what you need to send:
- Short cover letter to me, Dr. Carolyn Goffman, briefly explaining your interest in the internship.
- Recent CV or Resume
- Current transcript (sent to me via Campus Connect)
- Sample of academic writing (for example, a class paper)
