Black Lawrence Press’s biannual Black River Chapbook Competition will stop accepting submissions next Wednesday, May 31!

The competition is open to new emerging and established writers. They are accepting chapbooks of poems or short fiction between 16-36 pages in length. Winners will receive book publication, a $500 cash award, and ten copies of the book.
