Accomplishments, Awards, Publications, and Scholarships:

While studying at DePaul, I was published in Chicago After Dark: A City All-Star Student Anthology, Silver: An Eclectic Anthology of Poetry & Prose, Green: An Eclectic Anthology of Poetry & Prose, and Summer: An Eclectic Anthology of Poetry & Prose.

I was also awarded a DePaul University Partial Tuition Scholarship.

Favorite Courses at DePaul:

Honestly, I loved them all! The variety was staggering, in the best of ways–from workshops in screenwriting and memoir to a teaching internship and courses in editing–but I think Language and Style for Writers turned out to be one of my favorites, which was actually a pleasant surprise.

Postgraduation Plans:

I’ll continue working at my day job as an editor and writer for a corporation. I’ll continue running my own book manuscript editing business. And I’ll attempt to pick up some teaching assignments. Of course, I’ll keep writing and aiming for publication, too! I might even attempt an M.F.A. or Ph.D. way down the line, but not at this point. I need a break from coursework!
