The Loyola University Chicago Victorian Society (LUCVS), would like to invite you their first annual day conference, Past and Present: New Directions in Victorian Society on October 29th at Loyola’s Lakeshore campus.

Conference presentations will cover a number of issues concerning how the field can and should study Victorian literature. Plenary speakers include representatives from the V21 collective and the keynote speaker is Dr. Elaine Hadley from University of Chicago. There is no registration fee.
