Call for Submissions: Queertopia 2020 Conference

Graduate students and postgraduate scholars are invited to present their research, scholarly or creative work at the Queertopia 2020 conference at Northwestern University on February 29.

Entering its 13th year, Queertopia is an annual LGBTQ+ academic conference organized by Northwestern University’s Queer Pride Graduate Student Association. The conference features research across disciplines and fosters critical dialogue on topics related to gender and sexuality. This year, the conference will explore the theme of New Queer & Trans Politics? and will be held at Northwestern University on February 29, 2020.

The committee is currently soliciting abstracts of graduate and postgraduate research for this year’s conference. See the attached Call for Abstracts (submissions due January 12) for students, staff, and faculty. Queertopia welcomes submissions that expansively approach the format (research presentation, critical analysis, story telling, etc.) of presented session.
