Test Prep Chicago is looking to hire tutors for AP English, AP Language, and AP Literature. Teaching/tutoring experience is desired but not required. Applicants must be college graduates, and comfortable interacting with high school students and parents. Tutoring opportunities will mainly be held online, and there will be tutoring opportunities available over the summer as well as over the full next school year.
Test Prep also offers group and individual tutoring opportunities for 6th graders, 8th graders, and high school students preparing for academic center, high school and college entrance exams.
FOR TUTORS INTERESTED IN GROUP TEST PREP COURSES (in addition to subject matter tutoring): Applicants must be comfortable teaching classes ranging from 10-25 students. Test prep classes cover the following subjects: math, reading, language, and vocabulary. Tutors must be strong in BOTH reading/language skills as well as math skills. Paid training will be provided for all tutors.
Group and individual test prep sessions will mainly be held in-person, however, online tutoring opportunities may also be available. We will do our best to match tutors with convenient teaching locations for all in-person tutoring sessions.
Tutor compensation ranges between $45- $65 per hour.
