An Inconvenient Hour: Prose, Poetry, & Coffee is a reading series taking place on Saturdays at Monarch Community Cafe in Rogers Park. Their next event will take place on October 10th at 6 PM and feature, among other authors, DePaul professor Gazmend Kapllani.
Professor Kapllani has authored two collections of poetry in Albanian and four novels written in both Greek and Albanian, in addition to numerous scholarly essays. His work centers on themes of migration, border, totalitarianism, and Balkan history.
