New York based publishing house Nightboat is opening applications for their third editorial fellowship. The fellowship is designed to provide an aspiring editor with $10,000, along with the resources and mentorship necessary to develop and publish a book project of their choosing over the course of two years. Black and/or Indigenous editors, and/or editors from communities historically underrepresented in the publishing workforce are especially encouraged to apply. Projects should not be comprised of the applicant’s original work.
The application deadline has been extended to September 30th, 2026.
Interested applicants can find more information at Nightboat’s open call or apply directly through Submittable.
