Originators is the Women’s Prize Trust’s new mentorship and development program, presented by CHANEL, and it is dedicated to discovering and supporting emerging women fiction writers from across the United States.
Five writers will be selected for a tailored mentorship program designed to support their professional and artistic growth. Each will be paired with an established novelist who will help them refine and present their work to the wider literary world. Participants will also receive a grant and benefit from a curated program featuring special guest speakers and industry experts.
Originators is open for applications until Monday, November 30, 2026
