Congratulations to Prof. Jonathan Gross, who recently lectured at the University of Warsaw! Invited by UW’s Faculty of Liberal Arts and Faculty of Polish Studies, Prof. Gross presented on Music as a theme in Mickiewicz’s Forefather’s Eve (Part Three), Konrad Wallenrod, and Pan Tadeusz. In DePaul’s English Department, Prof. Gross teaches courses in English Romanticism, 19th Century Literature, and World Literature. He has edited novels, letters, and poems by aristocratic women of the Regency period, including Georgiana, duchess of Devonshire, Lady Melbourne, and Anne Damer.
