Black Warrior Review’s Now Open

The Journal Celebrates It’s Tenth Annual Contest Black Warrior Review’s tenth-annual contest is now open, and we’re honored to have Richard Siken (Poetry), Lily Hoang (Fiction/Prose), and Kiese Laymon (Nonfiction) as our guest judges. Winners in each genre receive a $1,000 prize and publication in BWR 41.2, our Spring/Summer 2015 issue. Three runners-up will be awarded $100 in addition to publication. Description of the Course Graduate student interns are assigned to work with an experienced faculty member at a Chicago-area two-year college. Interns attend every class; tutor students in and outside of class; participate in classroom activities, prepare and present lessons (in consultation with the mentor), and may assist the instructor with paper grading.
