Rhiannon’s essay, entitled “Let Her Go,” appears in the spring issue, which has the theme of Rebirth. Twenty-four MAE and MAWP students have been selected to present at the upcoming EGSA Spring Conference on Friday, April 13th, 2012. Organized by Trudie Gauerke (MAWP), Michael Hernandez (MAE), Jessica Saltiel (MAE), and Angel Woods (MAWP), the conference features fifteen panels of student presenters and a keynote address by Mahmoud Saeed. The English Department is offering Partial Tuition Scholarships (PTS) to recognize outstanding academic achievement of students in its two graduate programs. Partial Tuition Scholarships provide a partial reimbursement for tuition paid for Spring 2012 graduate courses in English taken toward the MAE and MAWP degrees. The Chicago Humanities Festival is hosting an upcoming event with Anthony Grafton on the past, present, and future of the book. It will take place on Saturday, March 31 at 2pm at First United Methodist Church (77 West Washington Street). In Alumni News: Molly Tranberg (MAWP ’11, and former Ex Libris editor!) was recently hired as an Editorial Assistant and Assistant to the Publisher in the Reference Division at Oxford University Press in New York. She assists the publisher in day-to-day tasks and works to bring new online reference materials to life.
