Manzano Mountain Review seeks submissions Manzano Mountain Review is an online literary journal based in New Mexico seeking submissions for its second issue. We like writing that is honest, gritty, vulnerable. Give us plot, but not too much. We want characters like us—complicated, flawed, human. Discomfort us. Provoke awe. Melt our brains. Announcing the 2018 Hillary Gravendyk Prize, Sponsored by the Inlandia Institute One National and one Regional Winner will each be awarded $1000 and book publication, and additional books may be chosen for publication by the editors. The Hillary Gravendyk Prize is an open poetry book competition for all writers regardless of the number of previously published poetry collections. Established in 2011 with the aim of supporting outstanding poets from the upper Midwest and bringing their work to a national stage, the Lindquist & Vennum Prize for Poetry awards $10,000 and publication by Milkweed Editions to a poet residing in Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin. The 2018 Poetry Prize IR is accepting submissions through March 31st, 2018. The Indiana Review would love to receive poems from colleagues and students within your program. Indiana Review is committed to publishing the highest quality work in a wide aesthetic by emerging and established writers. The OCWW is inviting all MAE and MAWP students free of charge to a weekly meeting of the most prestigious writing workshop in the Chicago Area. Off Campus Writers Workshop (OCWW) is the oldest continuously running writing workshop in the country.
