A reminder to graduate students (or prospective students) that deadlines for positions as a English Department Graduate Assistant are due January 15! Graduate assistants work roughly 20 hours  a week in the department and receive a tuition waiver for up to 12 courses and a $7,500 stipend. Sign up for a three-week intensive seminar in writing and translating poetry!  The instructors are Janet Holmes and Clyde Moneyhun, from the MFA program at Boise State University. Jane is a prolific poet and editor of the award-winning Ahsahta Press. Clyde is a translator of contemporary Catalan and Spanish poetry.
