Originators is the Women’s Prize Trust’s new mentorship and development program, presented by CHANEL, and it is dedicated to discovering and supporting emerging women fiction writers from across the United States. Five writers will be selected for a tailored mentorship program designed to support their professional and artistic growth. Each will be paired with an established novelist who will help them refine and present their work to the wider literary world. Agate is seeking interns for its six-month training internship program. The internship terms are typically between January 1–June 30 and July 1–December 31. Agate interns work approximately 20-30 hours per week on site, depending on their availability, and receive credit from their academic institution as well as a stipend of approximately $80 per week. New York based publishing house Nightboat is opening applications for their third editorial fellowship. The fellowship is designed to provide an aspiring editor with $10,000, along with the resources and mentorship necessary to develop and publish a book project of their choosing over the course of two years. The John T. Richardson Library is asking English majors to consider applying for a student assistant position in Special Collections and Archives.
