Call for Submissions: 11th Annual Spring English Conference

The DePaul English Department invites you to participate in the eleventh Spring English Conference. The Spring English Conference is an annual event in which DePaul English undergraduate and graduate students present academic and creative work. The Spring English Conference is going virtual this year!

In lieu of our annual in-person Spring English conference, the English department is now accepting submissions from students for a new 2020 Spring English Conference online launching June 1! This is an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their work and to share it with a positive, supportive community of DePaul faculty and peers. Call for Submissions: LAS Graduate Student Symposium

The submission portal for the 2020 LAS graduate student symposium at DePaul is now open! The submission deadline is March 27th. Congratulations to Alum: Matt Caracciolo

Congratulations to Matt Caracciolo, a 2012 DePaul MAWP program alum who published his first book this month: The Waygook Book: A Foreigner’s Guide to South Korea! From Monday Creek Publishing, The Waygook Book is a travelogue/memoir taking Matt from Chicago to teaching English in South Korea and back to his hometown of Columbus, OH. Join Matt at the Book Cellar in Lincoln on February 19 at 7pm as he discusses his new book for Local Authors Night and teaching English overseas.

Queertopia 2020 Conference

Register for FREE (bit.ly/queertopia2020) for the 13th annual Queertopia conference, New Queer and Trans Politics?, on February 29 (Saturday) at Kresge Centennial Hall (Northwestern Evanston campus)!
