  Monday, November 9th the English Department will be hosting three local editors to discuss what they do, how they got their jobs, and how students might find similar work. The event will take place from 6:30-7:30 pm in A&L Room 202. Following the presentation, their will be a 30 minute Q&A. DePaul’s Philosophy Department invites students to their Workshop on Trauma, Memory, and Representation taking place on Thursday and Friday, November 12th and 13th in the Richardson Library Room 400.     The workshop will conclude on Friday evening with a performance of the play Maximum Security and concurrent roundtable discussion from 4:00-6:00 pm at the event room in the DePaul Art Museum. presents: BOOK LAUNCH RECEPTION and READING Veterans Day, November 11  6:00-8:00 pm Lincoln Park Student Center Room 120 This Veterans Day come celebrate the launch of I Remember: Chicago Veterans of War, the latest book from DePaul’s Big Shoulders Books. I Remember weaves together the memories of fifty veterans of World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Veterans from the book and actors from DePaul’s Theater School will read memories from the book. Refreshments will be served, books will be available. Get your own copy of I Remember online, free of charge.
