Earlier this week, we received an exciting piece of Alumni News: after a long wait, MAWP graduate Zhanna Vaynberg‘s series of six short essays had finally gotten published in the Michigan Quarterly Review. Today in student news, congratulations to Rhiannon Falzone (MAWP), who got a story published on ChicagoSide, a new online Chicago sports magazine. Rhiannon’s story, “Chicago Hoops’ League-Leading Guard Is Back — And It’s Not D-Rose,” is her second piece for the site. Congratulations also to Bethany Brownholtz (MAWP), who has been named the new Assistant Editor for the online literary journal Blood Lotus. Now that we’re back from summer break, we’d like to congratulate a few of our alumni and faculty on their summer accomplishments: In faculty news, please join the English Department in congratulating Prof. Hugh Ingrasci on the publication of Robert Penn Warren’s All the King’s Men, a collection of critical essays that he co-edited with the late Michael J. Meyer for Rodopi Press. Prof. Ingrasci helped select the essays and contributed a lengthy introduction for the volume.
