Register for the MAE capstone portfolio or thesis option by September 25. Apply for a MAE and MAWP Partial Tuition Waiver Scholarship by September 26. Attend the MAE capstone portfolio/thesis option information session on September 27. Apply for autumn quarter degree conferral by October 1.  

REMINDER: in order for the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences to verify the completion of academic requirements, students must apply for degree conferral (graduation) in advance to have a degree posted and to receive a diploma. If you plan on graduating in June of 2013, the deadline to apply for degree conferral as well as the Commencement ceremony is this Friday, February 1st. Congratulations to two of our DePaul English faculty for their recent accomplishments! Prof. Hannah Pittard’s short story, “Orion’s Belt,” was read as the opening selection at the Selected Shorts event last week at Symphony Space in New York City. The story is one of thirteen commissioned from “emerging writers” to open the Symphony Space events held between October and June.  The event will be broadcast on NPR at a date yet to be announced.
