Call for Submissions From a New Press Started by a DePaul Alum

Introducing Lillet (pronounced lee-lay after the French aperitif, that stimulates the appetite). Lillet publishes chapbooks. Prose, poetry, sketch/comedy scripts, some combination, or some new genre you’ve invented.  Their first open reading period is open from NOW until May 1. Submit on their website: lilletpress.com There is no reading fee or set number of manuscripts selected for publication this round 50 pg max. DePaul graduate students and alumni can register for DePaul’s eighth annual Career Week—a series of networking events, webinars, workshops, and other professional development opportunities—here. Career Week takes place on the Loop and Lincoln Park campuses as well as via the interwebs. Most Career Week activities are free. One notable exception is the Networking Happy Hour at BlackFinn Ameripub in River North. The $15 registration fee for the February 12 event covers appetizers and two drink tickets.
