Crook & Folly Submissions Now Open

Submissions for poetry, creative nonfiction, fiction, dramatic literature, and micro-prose are now open!  Any submissions sent in by 11:59 pm on February 12th will be given feedback and then have a chance to edit and resubmit their piece. After February 12th, all submissions will be received as is and the deadline is March 12th.  Submissions to multiple genres are allowed; however, please include the genre you are submitting to in the email’s subject line. Crook & Folly Open to Submissions (Deadline: 2/23/15)

Crook & Folly, DePaul’s literary magazine, seeks submissions of fiction, creative nonfiction, micro prose, poetry, and dramatic literature. The submission deadline is February 23. Students can send their work to crookandfolly@gmail.com. Crook & Folly is holding a micro prose event this Thursday, January 15, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Arts & Letters Hall, Room 303. Attendees will learn about micro prose and create their own micro prose pieces. Threshold Awards for Excellence

For more information on Threshold, please visit their new website. Threshold will be awarding the Threshold Awards for Excellence in each of four literary categories. These categories include Dramatic Literature (one act plays and screenplay excerpts), Creative Non-Fiction (personal essays, literary journalism, memoirs, travel writing, etc), Fiction (short stories, novella or novel excerpts), and Poetry (of all forms, up to three submissions per person).
