Printers Row Lit Fest & ASK Networking Breakfast

Printers Row Lit Fest is this weekend, June 8th from 10:00a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and June 9th from 10:00a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The largest free outdoor literary event in the Midwest, Printers Row Lit Fest features over 250 authors and 150 booksellers and this year welcomes famed young adult author Judy Blume, celebrity chef Rick Bayless over 250 authors and 150 booksellers. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the annual DePaul Fest Concert taking place on campus TODAY, May 24th, 2013, Public Safety will be closing Arts and Letters Hall at 5:30 p.m. The English department offices will close at 5:30 as well. DePaul’s Chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honors Society, is hosting a poetry open mic night with special guest Debra Bruce on Friday, May 31st from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in Arts & Letters Hall room 404. MAE and MAWP Students Presenting at the Spring English Conference

Twenty-five MAE and MAWP students have been selected to present at the upcoming Fourth Annual Spring English Conference, which will be taking place on Friday, May 3rd, 2013. Organized by Maria Hlohowskyj (MAWP) and Emily Todd (MAE), the conference features fifteen panels of student presenters and a keynote address by MAWP alumnae Rita Leganski.
