This is a great week to get involved with the Guild Literary Complex and check out some of their Chicago literary events, because tomorrow begins their “Mid-October Sampler Platter.” There’s lots to choose from! This year, Threshold introduced the first-ever Threshold Award for Excellence in each of our literary categories. We had the distinct honor to work with four talented writers, who selected our final recipients. Professor Murphy started the evening with a brief explanation concerning his process in constructing this new work. Professor Murphy includes references to well over 200 Irish novelists.
