Today in Student News, we are happy to announce that MAWP student and GA Mark Brand will be heading to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Fall 2013 where he’ll will be working on a PhD in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. Mark will be studying with Liam Callanan and Valeria Laken in their fiction-writing faculty and working toward a new novel as a creative dissertation. Congratulations, Mark! Threshold, DePaul’s award-winning, student-run literary magazine is recruiting! As new co-editors, Rachel Harthcock (undergraduate) and Borja Cabada (graduate, MAWP) are excited about the prospects of putting together a terrific team that will help them create another great issue this year.
