DePaul’s wealth of study abroad opportunities includes India: India’s Identities. This December intersession program will feature courses on travel writing (ENG 272/398) and philosophy (PHL 234/398). Associate professor and MAWP director Michele Morano and LAS assistant dean Randall Honold will be leading the program. It’s the second day of the quarter, and hopefully by now all you grad students have your classes picked out, but if you’re making last minute adjustments or looking for something different, please note that Rachel Shteir, one of DePaul’s 2011-12 Humanities Fellows, is teaching a special topics course in the spring on Chekhov and Beckett. You are invited to attend the 18th annual philosophy graduate student conference on April 9th, 2011. The conference, “Urban Nature and the Praxis of Denaturalization,” will be held in the DePaul Student Center, Room 220 (2250 N. Clifton, Chicago 60614) from 9am-6pm.
