DePaul art and literary magazine Crook & Folly will celebrate the release of Edition 35 this Thursday, May 28, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the DePaul Art Museum. Guest judges and Chicago writers Jonathan Eig, Jac Jemc, and Daniel Borzutzky will read; MAWP students Eric Hollander and Joe Hampton will provide their musical stylings; and magazines and snacks galore will be there for the taking. Crook & Folly will also introduce the 2015–2016 Edition 36 editors.

The Oklahoma Review, an online journal published by the department of English and foreign languages at Cameron University, is accepting fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry submissions until  March 15.
