Chicago-based author, actor, and acting coach Janet B. Milstein is seeking an intern to work with her as an editor on two short nonfiction books. Approximately 100 pages each, these books on professional acting will be part of a new book series for Smith and Kraus, Inc. DePaul professor Barrie Jean Borich seeks student interns to help run the digital nonfiction art journal Slag Glass City.  Internship responsibilities include broad social-media management, website maintenance, submission screening and deliberation, correspondence, research, proofreading, events planning, and other tasks as they develop. RHINO magazine is looking for one to two winter/spring 2015 interns to help with social media, event marketing, and publishing-related administrative tasks, such as correspondence, database entry, and small special projects. In 2015–16, RHINO will need two special projects interns for the following long-term projects: 1. coordination of a 40th anniversary national reading series (“40 readings in 40 cities”) 2. management of a special publishing initiative of a yearlong readers-respond-to-writers weekly poem series.
