  Professor Richard Squibbs will be conducting an Information Session for the Capstone Portfolio Requirement and Thesis Option on Saturday, April 23 in SAC 232. From 10:00- 11:00, he will explain the requirements for the Portfolio, describe how to submit your Portfolio materials using Digication, and answer any questions that you might have. From 11:00-12:00 he will discuss the Thesis Option with those students who choose it as a Final Requirement. The deadline for applying for Spring ’16 Degree Conferral was February 1, 2016. This information was sent to all graduate students in the English Department via email, posted in Ex Libris, on our website and on the monitor on the second floor of Arts & Letters right outside of the English Department. The Department of English is pleased to announce The Dontrey Britt-Hart Endowed Scholarship, a new funding opportunity for MAWP students. Shanghaied, Restored, and Grateful: Experiencing the Global Learning Experience Little did I expect, when I signed up for Professor John Shanahan’s Restoration Drama course last autumn, that our class would journey beyond the shores of 17th and 18th Century England and across two continents to Fudan University in Shanghai, China. Attention MAE students! This Saturday Professor Richard Squibbs, the director of the MAE program, will be holding an information session discussing Final Requirements for graduation – either the Capstone Portfolio or Thesis Option. The session takes place this Saturday the 23rd in SAC Room 232. The first session will cover the Capstone Portfolio and takes place from 10:00-11:00, and the second session takes place from 11:00-12:00 covering the Thesis Option. Another reminder that the deadline to submit to the the Third Annual LAS Interdisciplinary Graduate Student Conference is this Friday, January 15th. The conference takes place Friday, March 4 from 12:00-5:00 pm on the Lincoln Park Campus. Find further details and the submission link here. All LAS graduate students are eligible. This conference is an opportunity to share your work with other students and faculty across departments and programs.
