The Department of English at UW-Madison is pleased to announce that online registration for the Mendota Seminar is now available!

We invite alumni and friends to join us, on June 20-22, for a weekend celebrating Shakespeare’s 450th birthday. We will attend an American Players Theatre performance of Much Ado About Nothing, enjoy faculty lectures, explore adaptation and theatrical performance, and discuss Shakespeare and his legacy in the twenty-first century. We welcome alumni back to our department, and we welcome newcomers to see what our department has to offer!
