The Newberry Library’s Conference on Early Modern Women’s Writing with Paula McQuade

The deadline to apply for The Newberry Library’s conference “The Turn to Religion: Women and Writing in Early Modern England,” is fast approaching!

The conference will focus on a new and exciting field of scholarship that explores the role of women’s devotional writing in shaping the English Reformation and Counter-Reformation. The conference is also in part a research methods workshop for early career graduate students. Leading the conference is Wayne State University’s Jamie Goodrich, and DePaul’s very own Paula McQuade!

The conference takes place on Saturday, March 12 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The conference is limited, by competitive application, but registration is free. The dealine closes this Saturday, January 30.
