HumanitiesX, DePaul’s Experiential Humanities Collaborative, seeks six Student Fellows for the 2022-23 year. These are 10-12 hour/week positions that run from Oct.-June, paying up to $6517/student. For engaged students interested in the environment, it’s a great opportunity. Student Fellows assist faculty and community partners as they develop new HumanitiesX courses, and with the guidance of WRD Professor Lisa Dush, create public-facing humanities deliverables about environmental action at DePaul and beyond. The Missouri Review 2021 Miller Audio Prize

In this 14th year of the Miller Audio Contest, The Missouri Review is excited to announce a reimagining of the competition: the contest is now open year-round and 12 finalists from each of our four categories will be featured throughout 2021 on the new Miller Aud-Cast.  At the end of 2021, one winner from among the 12 featured finalists in each category will be awarded $1000.   There are a range of entry fees, all of which guarantee a one-year digital subscription to TMR, and each of which may be considered for publication in the Miller Aud-cast. The Missouri Review Announces the 2021 Perkoff Prize

The Missouri Review is excited to announce the re-vamping of the Perkoff Prize, the original benefactor of which, Dr. Gerald Thomas Perkoff, was Professor Emeritus at the University of Missouri School of Medicine in the Department of Family and Community Medicine.  This year, the contest is open for submissions in fiction, nonfiction and poetry; entries are sought that engage in evocative and compelling ways with health and medicine.
