 Mikaela Shea,  the editor-in-chief of 3Elements Review, a themed literary journal, is looking for submissions.   For each issue, they require that all three of the current elements be in the piece of writing. The current elements are carnival, residue, and maudlin, as stated on our website. Our submission guidelines can be viewed here: 3Element’s Guidelines.   Their journal features award-winning fiction writers, poets, and artists, as well as emerging writers.

There are less than two weeks left to enter to win the annual Gulf Coast Prizes, judged by Andrea Barrett (Fiction), John D’Agata (Nonfiction), and Rachel Zucker (Poetry). POETRY OF THE SACRED CONTEST February – May, 2014 The Institute for Contemplative Practice is pleased to announce the 2014 Poetry of the Sacred Contest.
