Argonne National Laboratory is hiring a part-time scientific writing coach this summer. The writing coach will help undergraduates in Argonne Education’s 10-week intensive science internship program put together abstracts, scientific reports, and poster presentations. The coach will also provide the summer interns with writing resources, advise students during office hours and one-on-one tutoring sessions, and work with the Argonne team to improve the summer internship program. The Academic Success Center in DePaul’s College of Education has an opening for a partial graduate assistantship this spring, which will continue as a full graduate assistantship next year. For the partial graduate assistantship, the student will work 10 hours a week and receive a tuition waiver for one course. The 2015–2016 full graduate assistantship will entail working 20 hours a week in exchange for a $6,000 annual stipend and tuition waivers for two courses.
