On Thursday, April 23, one of Miles Harvey’s short stories, Four Faces, is being featured at the Rosewood Tavern, 5726 N. Western Ave. The event will feature a reading by Chicago actress Rengin Altay and music by Lisa DeRosia and Colby Maddox.

On April 24 and 25, The UChicago Program in Creative Writing will host its annual Literary Arts Lab Festival, this year featuring writers Andrea Long Chu, Teju Cole, Richard Siken, and Jamila Woods for two days of panel discussions, craft talks, and readings. Test Prep Chicago is looking to hire tutors for AP English, AP Language, and AP Literature. Teaching/tutoring experience is desired but not required. Applicants must be college graduates, and comfortable interacting with high school students and parents. Tutoring opportunities will mainly be held online, and there will be tutoring opportunities available over the summer as well as over the full next school year.
