Program: M.A. in English
Accomplishments, Awards, Publications, and Scholarships: I received partial tuition scholarships each quarter, I am graduating with distinction, and I passed the MAE comprehensive exam with distinction.
Favorite Course at DePaul: My favorite course was probably Editing, but that’s what I do for a living, so that shouldn’t count. My favorite literature courses were the Restoration courses I took with Professor Shanahan and Victorian Literature with Professor Conary.
Post-graduation Plans: My husband and I just bought a house in April, so this summer will probably entail a lot of odd jobs and yard work. I’m also finally reading the books I got for Christmas, now that I have the time. As far as the future goes, I already have the job I yearned for when I began my MAE, so I plan on enjoying my career as an editor for many years to come.
