Accomplishments, Awards, Publications, and Scholarships: PTS scholarships throughout my two years at DePaul. I also wrote a thesis on popular Romance fiction entitled Book Talk: Metaromance and Textuality in Genre Fiction with the help of Professor Selinger.
Favorite Course at DePaul: Topics in American Lit: Contemporary Romance Fiction with Professor Selinger for changing my understanding of literature and inspiring me to take on a thesis.
Post-graduation Plans: Continuing to teach English to legions of high schoolers through the wonders of the internet. I’ll be working as an adjunct in fall at Truman college teaching communication courses. And as soon as I’ve had a chance to recover from this M.A., I’ll pursue my Ph.D.
