Program: M. A. in Writing and Publishing
Accomplishments, Awards, Publications, and Scholarships: While at DePaul I had numerous travel articles published online by Premier Tourism Marketing as well as headline articles for two issues of their main print magazine, Leisure Group Travel. I also had the privilege to work with the How Long Will I Cry?: Voices of Youth Violence project while taking Professor Harvey’s Art of Interviewing course.
Favorite Courses at DePaul: A few of my favorite courses were Writing/Marketing the Literary Arts with Professor Green, From Manuscript to Bound Book with Professor Rooney, and Memoir Workshop with Professor Morano.
Post-graduation Plans: I finished my courses after the Autumn term and moved back to my great home state, Tennessee. I’ve been freelance writing here and there and I have my eye on a permanent position as a content writer and social media manager for a company here in Nashville and will know in a few weeks if the position is mine! As for now, every bit of free time I have goes into planning my September wedding! 🙂
