Register for the event here. Sandra Cisneros is a poet, short story writer, novelist, essayist, performer and artist whose work explores working class lives and landscapes. Anthology Launch Event

DePaul’s Blue Book is the latest imprint by DePaul University’s English Department, which fosters work in literature, creative writing, and publishing. There is a virtual launch of the anthology featuring seven of its writers on Friday, February 19th, 6:00-7:00 PM. Log in information below:

In partnership with the History Department, The English Department Visiting Writers Series is hosting a remote event for the release of Professor Kathleen Rooney and Professor Miles Harvey’s books beginning at 6:00 pm on September 30: Historical Research in Fiction and Creative Nonfiction: Readings and Conversation with Kathleen Rooney and Miles Harvey. Congratulations to Matt Caracciolo, a 2012 DePaul MAWP program alum who published his first book this month: The Waygook Book: A Foreigner’s Guide to South Korea! From Monday Creek Publishing, The Waygook Book is a travelogue/memoir taking Matt from Chicago to teaching English in South Korea and back to his hometown of Columbus, OH. Join Matt at the Book Cellar in Lincoln on February 19 at 7pm as he discusses his new book for Local Authors Night and teaching English overseas.
