The M.A. in English and M.A. in Writing and Publishing programs are offering Partial Tuition Scholarships (PTS) to recognize outstanding academic achievement of students in the English department’s two graduate programs. The Poetry Foundation is looking for a media intern. Responsibilities include proofreading, creating event announcements, and updating media and community lists. Argonne National Laboratory is hiring a part-time scientific writing coach this summer. The writing coach will help undergraduates in Argonne Education’s 10-week intensive science internship program put together abstracts, scientific reports, and poster presentations. The coach will also provide the summer interns with writing resources, advise students during office hours and one-on-one tutoring sessions, and work with the Argonne team to improve the summer internship program.
