Reminder PTS Awards Deadline September 24!

The M.A. in English and M.A. in Writing and Publishing programs are offering Partial Tuition Scholarships (PTS) to recognize outstanding academic achievement of students in the English department’s two graduate programs. Partial Tuition Scholarships provide a partial reimbursement for tuition paid for 2015 autumn graduate courses in English taken toward the MAE and MAWP degrees. MAE and MAWP students take notice that two different opportunities to receive research funding from DePaul have approaching deadlines. Applications for both the Graduate Research Funding (GRF) program and the Vincentian Endowment Fund Grant are due in under a month’s time. Graduate Research Funding Program: The college supports the research, scholarship, and creative work of graduate students through its Graduate Research Funding (GRF) program. Argonne Seeks Summer Part-Time Scientific Writing Coach

Argonne National Laboratory is hiring a part-time scientific writing coach this summer. The writing coach will help undergraduates in Argonne Education’s 10-week intensive science internship program put together abstracts, scientific reports, and poster presentations. The coach will also provide the summer interns with writing resources, advise students during office hours and one-on-one tutoring sessions, and work with the Argonne team to improve the summer internship program.
